Gareth is an active trombonist, conductor and composer. When not playing his trombone with the Fodens band, Gareth keeps himself busy conducting bands in the North West and beyond, as well as composing for his publisher, Danetre Music.

Gareth graduated from the Royal Northern College of music where he studied with Andy Berryman, Rob Holliday and former BTS regional representative, Chris Houlding. When not playing, conducting or writing, Gareth works as a classroom teacher.
